Words from Kira... Kira Lamb is the Co-Creator of Climb & Spin Inc, offering comprehenvisve pole dance certifications & teacher training programs for pole dance instructors. Climb & Spin is end orsed by the United States Pole Dance Federation. "Inspiration, Not Imitation Pole Dancing"
In an art-form that's become a rapidly growing competitive sport, pole dancing is starting to be defined by the skills, tricks and styles of our pro athletes. They have undoubtedly raised the bar and far exceeded even our own expectations for the potential of pole dancing. The pros serve as our inspiration to practice harder and push ourselves to master skills we never thought were within our scope of reality. They make us hungrier for achievement. But while the pros may serve as our inspiration, it's important for us to train at a pace that corresponds with our individual fitness level while developing, nurturing and celebrating our own unique style of pole dancing.
What are we dancing to this month?
Un-thinkable (I'm ready) by Alicia Keys
Howl by Florence and the Machine
Heart-Shaped box by Nirvana
When lights go out by the Black Keys
Lil Freak by Usher feat. Nicki Minaj Drop it Low by Ester Dean featuring Chris Brown
Pardon Me by Incubus
Thanks for reading, Anna and Wendy
